About Us

 

 

Jbdesign consists of two artists. Jennifer L. Randell and myself, Kenna Bree Dunham. We both grew up in the rural country setting of Bethel Acres in Oklahoma. After graduation, we both attended the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on scholarships to work towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Jennifer majored in painting and photography with a graphic art minor. I majored in painting and ceramics with a photography and graphic art minor. We began to work together in earnest during college and found that although our styles differ greatly, we constantly push each other in new directions, making us a very diverse and dynamic team. Art is a passion that wont let go. Surely, it is a part of who we are and always will be. Every artistic endeavor is a journey through a process of expression. Much like life. Oscar Wilde said "It is Art and Art only, that reveals us to ourselves." I think every artist has a basic need to express what lies within them in hopes of connecting with the viewer to get an emotional response, linking one to the other, discovering our humanity through art.
