I had the opportunity to photograph some large machinery parts that had been sent to be recycled at the local scrap yard. I became fascinated with this particular piece of "junk". The large gear arm and wheel piece was larger than a suburban vehicle. I wanted to relocate it to my front yard as an installation piece. That never happened, I wonder what became of it after it was melted down.
